about

this album was conceptualised following two years of emotional turbulence. encapsulating the endured loss of loved ones, oneself, morals and direction.

ultimately, having the capability to grasp perseverance and leverage flaws throughout the process, acknowledging a personal and mature evolution.

“when i started the next chapter of my life, i discovered more insight of who i am and was insecure. i self-deprecated. i clung onto the “ignorance is bliss” phrase for a while. but as soon as i came into terms with myself, letting things fall into place… life started to make sense. i had to transition to how i was thinking. this made it easier to accept myself and eventually i did".

"people come and go, ebb and flow and the idea of impermanence can be unfathomable. this predicament of flux… now, i see it as a passing event that just happens. and the most important thing that i got out from this is to enjoy the moment".

"at times of hardships, i would give up. but my good friend from college reminded me of this short but simple quote that always stuck to me, “things will get better”. and from that, i just realised that in no way things would be this way forever. it may be a short phrase, yet it has helped me come a long way".

"liberation is self-explanatory. but feel free to interpret it in any way, shape or form. this could be from a heavy feeling, to escaping friendships and relationships".

"self-evolution is the core of this album. two years was like a pivotal experience of a decade. it shaped me. and i’m grateful that those things happened the way they did.”
